I just got a call from my insurance company. Seems my insurance lapsed two weeks ago and I didn't know it. Jonathan paid the bill for two months, but didn't tell me when it was next due. I have a brand new car stereo installed in my car (thank you elegantdreams for the use of your driveway). Other than an attempted self maiming, it was easy. I was happy to discover that I didn't also have to replace my speakers. It sounds so good! It's a pity I have no idea how to use it...

I am still not sure if it is worth it to put the money into the car that I need to. I just have a special love for the car because of the *My First Car* syndrome. It's a vicious circle. Fixing the car will cost less than getting a newer one (unless my engine or transmission goes), but having a newer car will cause less stress and mean less repairs ( Read more... )
