"Hajimemashite Yukiyo Yukimura desu. Douzo yoroshiku."
She stood in the middle of the dressing room and introduced herself. Yukiyo is the newly announced manager of JUMP, the largest debuted unit in Johnny's. She looked around at the members, scattered across the room. She had already memorized their names and their looks from the file that Johnny had passed to her the previous day. It wasn't that a hard feat actually since she often see the members on tv as well.
"So, now its your turn to introduce yourself to me." Yukiyo said with a smile, something she had learnt to keep on her face ever since her kaa-san passed away.
The room was silence, with the occasionally scratching of the back of his head from Takaki.
"Hmm, we shall start from the youngest then" Yukiyo turned and looked at Ryutaro. Ryutaro uncrossed his hand and frowned.
"Morimoto Ryutaro, 16 this year."
"Alright, thanks, then we have Chinen Yuri?"Yukiyo continued.
"Well since you already know our name why do we still have to introduce ourselves?!" Chinen snapped at her.
"Now now, that's called getting to know each other right?" Yukiyo continued smiling.
"She's weird…" Hikaru whispered to Keito.
"You won't be able to stay long, so don't bother getting to know us" Yabu stood up from his seat and walked towards Yukiyo, crossing his hand across his chest.
Yukiyo took another look around the room. Hikaru and Keito were sitting together near the mirrors. Chinen and Yamada were sitting across the room, scowling at each other, Yuto and Inoo together at the other corner of the room, Ryutaro sitting alone, with Takaki snoozing behind him, Yabu standing right in front of her now with a smirk on his face. Definitely not what you will expect to see in a Jump dressing room. Yukiyo mentally counted nine members. Now, where's Daiki?
"Looking for Daiki?" Yabu smirked again.
"Maa maa, you won't find him, he hardly comes anyways…" Hikaru said.
"Okay guys, this is not the way it should be!" Yukiyo exclaimed.
"Chinen's suppose to be sitting on Yamada's lap. Yuuto is suppose to be together with Keito, Hikaru and Inoo are suppose to be fooling around and Yabu and Ryutaro are suppose to be learning to guitar together!"
"Heh, you actually believe that." Yamada said sarcastically from his sit.
"Those so called fanservice…are meant to be shown on the stage only." Chinen scowled.
"Yeah, you think we like doing that? What's with me carrying Inoo in the middle of Summary Con" Hikaru scowled.
"Or me sitting on Yamada's lap, its disgusting" Chinen replied.
"Or me saying I Love you to Chinen, i'm not gay for god sick" Yamada continued.
Yukiyo shook her head.
"Dakara, im here!"
"Like you can do anything about it…" Takaki sat up from his position.
"We're professional actors. Those fanservice are meant to be done up the stage." Yuuto said.
"So long as the fans don't find out, we're fine. We don't have to be bonded in order to have a concert." Yabu snapped at her.
"Maa..maa…that's not what the fans want to see." Yukiyo fought back.
"Ha! Like hell would they know that it's all an act." Keito laughed from his place.
"Now…this moment, this second, i want all of this nonsense to stop." Yukiyo started on a serious tone, smile gone from her face for once.
"Ooooo Im so scared, new manager's so scary" Daiki appeared at the door, the smell of cigarette coming from him.
"Hello Daiki. Did you just went for a smoke!?" Yukiyo said.
"None of your business…" Daiki plopped down beside Takaki and returned him Takaki's lighter.
Yukiyo sighed. "Guys, you all should be as one. This is not the way you all should continue. You guys want to be as JUMP for life right?"
No reply came from the ten of them.
"Dakara, Johnny sent me here, to fix this. So, from today onwards, we shall be as one nehh!" Yukiyo clapped her hands together. "Haii, Ten hearts beating as one now." She continued. No one in jump took notice of her, maybe except Inoo.
"Someone call the ambulance! Hurry!"
Her vision was blurry and everything was in a mess. Shattered glass was on the floor. Moments later, the sound of the siren could be heard.
"Miss, Miss can you hear me?"
She fought back the urge to close her eye as she felt herself being carried onto a stretcher.
"Contact her family members. Check her handbag or something…"

Well so the purpose of Yukiyo as Jump's manager is clear now. Her main jobscope is not to keep order in JUMP, but rather, to gel JUMP together, to get them to like each other. Another day has passed as she made her way to JUMP's dance studio. She stood by the door as she saw them dance. It was well choreograph and the members danced well. Nobody was out of place and they managed to coordinate the dance together. But something was missing. The feeling that was coming out from their dance was wrong. Nobody seemed to be enjoying it. Yukiyo shook her head and stopped the music.
"What now?!" Yabu walked up towards her.
"Guys, please put some feeling into your dance move. Anoo…how should i put this. Your dancing is fine, the coordination is there, but you all are not dancing as JUMP! Let's try again shall we?" Yukiyo walked back to the player and pressed the play button. They started the dance from the beginning again.
This cycle repeated on its own for ever dance practices. Yukiyo will walk in, lecture them about the same thing over and over again and watch them dance again. She didn't just do that during dance practices. After dance practices while they were having a finally debrief, she will get them to sit together and reflect on their day. She will make them comment on each other's dance move. She would often get responses like "Yamada was fine…" or "I guess nobody screwed up." Those were halfhearted answers coming from the members though, so one day, she spoke up again.
"Okay, today's my turn to speak." The members look up at her. "I will comment on your dancing one by one, starting from Ryutaro."
"Ryutaro, why do you always hide behind Keito while dancing? And Keito why do you always dance so cautiously? As though the next step you take will make you fall forward. Yamada, do you think you're the star of the whole dance? Frankly speaking, your dance is as good as not dancing. Chinen, you might as well not dance, you look as though someone forced you to dance, Yuuto, don't act as though you are the big shot, Daiki and Takaki, wake up already, although your dance moves are in time, you guys look like drunks. The only person i see dancing their best is Hikaru and Inoo. Yabu, as the oldest, you're not even setting an example by putting all your effort in dancing" Yukiyo took a deep breath after she finished her comments, Jump had their heads down, probably deep in thoughts.
"I'll leave you all to think about it, i'll take my leave now" Yukiyo took her bag and left the room, in hope that JUMP will understand what she said.
Day after day, as the months drew closer to their spring concert, Yukiyo noticed the change. Chinen was now talking to Ryutaro and Yamada. Although he was shooting at them, at least they were communicating. Yabu and Hikaru were now practicing the guitar, together with Ryutaro. Takaki and Daiki were diligently practicing their move secretly when JUMP had their water break. Yukiyo smiled, knowing that JUMP was finally making the effort.
"She's losing a lot of blood….Check the blood bank. We might need 5 bags of blood for her."
"Doctor! There's not enough blood for her bloodtype!"
"Find a donor! We've got a life in our hands"
She felt a mask placed over her mouth as she was wheeled to god knows where. She fought to open her eyes but to no avail and the last thing she heard was the beeps from the monitor measuring her heartbeat.

It was now a month till JUMP's spring concert. BEST were communicating amongst themselves. Well, Yukiyo was glad, at least the older ones managed to bond. Now it was only left with SEVEN to be dealt with. She walked into the dressing room and smiled. "Ohaiyo Yuki-chan." BEST said to her in unisons, together with Ryutaro. "Ohaiyo" She smiled and placed down her bag, glad that BEST and Ryutaro were paying attention to her. "Morning Yuki-chan" Keito walked over with Yuuto beside, who gave a wave. Chinen shuffled over and gave a slight bow while Yamada just sat across the table.
Maa, finally they're responding as one, a month ago they would hardly greet me. Yukiyo smiled, knowing that JUMP was getting together as friends now and not just for their fans.
"Okay guys, we're here now to discuss about our Spring Concert." Yukiyo said as she took out a file from her bag.
"Yosh!" Yabu said and punched his hand into the air. Something Yukiyo never expected. She laughed and BEST laughed together with her.
Their meeting continued until lunchtime. They finished discussing what they should do for their opening and BEST had came out with a great load of suggestions of how the Concert should come out.
"Okay, we'll take a break for now. We'll continue after lunch" Yukiyo clapped her hands together.
"Haii, Yuki-chan, lets have lunch together!" Inoo walked up to her and suggested.
"Alright, let's go minna."
Yamada groaned and he pulled himself up from his seat. "Oh come on Yamada, for once just have lunch with us!" Hikaru walked up to Yamada and placed his arms around Yamada's shoulder.
Meanwhile, Yukiyo who was walking with the rest of BEST had a plan ready in her head. A plan to bring SEVEN together.
The next day, she called for a meeting with SEVEN, to discuss about SEVEN's part in their upcoming Spring Concert.
"Maa..i guess it'll be the same. Yamada will do his own solo, so will Chinen, Keito will play the guitar, I will play the drums and Ryutaro will sing-along" Yuuto said.
"No guys, this time, i have a better suggestion. We will have SEVEN band!" Yukiyo clapped her hands together.
"Eh!?" Keito and Yuuto looked up.
"But i thought its suppose to be me on the drums, Keito and Yabu on the guitar, Hikaru on the bass and Inoo on the piano." Yuuto exclaimed.
"Maa, don't you think that's a little boring? I bet the fans are sick of it already…" Yukiyo said.
Yuuto and Keito looked at each other, confused.
"Okay, this time, instead of JUMP band, we'll have SEVEN band. Yuuto will be on the drums, Keito still on the guitar, Ryutaro will do the guitar as well.."
"But i can't play the guitar!" Ryutaro cut in.
"Don't lie Ryutaro, i know you're learning it!" Yukiyo snapped at him and continued. "Yamada will be on the piano and Chinen will be the lead singer."
"What! NO i don't want to play the piano!" Yamada protested.
"Oh don't worry, the piano's really easy. Im sure Inoo will be glad to teach you. Any objections from the rest?" Yukiyo smiled and look at SEVEN.
Keito and Yuuto looked at each other, relieved that they still have their own instruments to themselves. Ryutaro was looking down at the floor, fiddling with his fingers, ready to rush to Yabu the moment the meeting ends.
Chinen raised his hand. "Anoo…what about adding BEST in. So that it'll really be a JUMP band. Inoo and Yamada can have a piano duet. Yabu can stick with the guitar, Hikaru with the bass. Then me, Takaki and Daiki can sing…"
"Splendid idea!" Yukiyo clapped her hands, glad that her plan was working. "Alright, meeting over. Yamada don't forget to ask Inoo for help on the piano. And minna, i've booked the Jamming studio this friday for a group practise, don't forget about it. I'll remind BEST as well!" and with that, Yukiyo left the room, beaming.
Over the week, Yukiyo will hear the strumming of guitars coming from the dressing room, as well as harmonizing voices. From another room, she can hear the melodic sound of the piano which obviously came from Inoo as well as the occasional slamming of the piano keys, which definitely came from Yamada. Chuckling to herself, she walked to Johnny's room to give him a weekly report. Friday came and she met up with Jump at the jamming room, eager to hear their first band performance. Sitting down on the chair, Yuuto tapped his drumsticks together to signal the start of the song. Everything went smoothly until it was time for Yamada's and Inoo's duet. Yamada missed a key and subsequently missed more notes after that. The song ended and everyone placed down their instruments. Inoo was seen comforting Yamada while the rest of BEST surrounded the piano and encouraged Yamada as well.
"Yama-chan…" Yukiyo suddenly heard a small voice. Looking up, she saw Chinen walking towards Yamada.
"Gambatte." Chinen smiled and said to Yamada.
Yamada looked up and looked at Chinen's face before letting out a smile. "Arigato.."
YUkiyo's heart did a backflip as she saw the heartwarming sight. Leaving JUMP to continue their practise, she took her leave.
It was the day before their first performance for their Spring Concert, they gathered together for a final briefing.
"Haii, Minna, you guys were awesome during these few months, So…just do your best tomorrow! I'll be backstage supporting you guys. Have a good sleep tonight! And…final rehearsal tomorrow, don't forget about it. " Yukiyo said with a smile on her face.
"Haii, everyone said in unisons. "
"Anoo…." Yabu walked up to Yukiyo.
"Yes Yabu?" Yukiyo looked up at him.
Yabu bowed. "Arigato gozaimasu, For bringing JUMP together." Yukiyo smiled.
The rest of JUMP stood up as well and bowed. "Arigato gozaimasu Yuki-chan" They said in unisons. Yukiyo controlled the tears that were collecting at her eyes.
"Doitashimashitae. Gambatte nehh" She said with a laugh and left the room.
Spring Concert went as planned, well, there were still fanservice, but the moment they pairs came back into the dressing room to change, Yukiyo could feel the difference. Yuuto was still clinging onto Keito while Yamada and Chinen came back hand in hand. So did the rest, they came back, filled with excitement. Their next performance was the band performance. Yukiyo cheered for them as they changed out of their costume, avoiding their sweating chest. Yamada was all jittery and Chinen and Inoo were standing beside him, encouraging him. Ryutaro on the other hand was silently sitting at his chair, anxious. Yabu walked over and gave him a hug. "Gambatte, you can do it!" Before ruffling his hair. Yukiyo saw Ryutaro's shoulder relax. She wiped a single tear of relieve off from her eye, and smiled at the sight in front of her.
JUMP clattered out of the room as they were called to prepare for their next performance. Encouraging everyone as they made their way out, Yukiyo hoped silently, especially for Yamada, that they'll do well.
Screams were heard as they started their band performance. Yukiyo watched from the back of the stage, Inoo and Yamada's fingers flew gracefully over the paino keys, Daiki Takaki and Chinen harmonized perfectly. Ryutaro got the most screams during his guitar solo, while Keito and Yabu watched from the back as their youngest member finally found the confidence he was fighting for on stage. Needless to say for Hikaru and Yuuto, who always did their best. Yukiyo smiled again, unable to control the tears this time.
It was the end of their concert and JUMP thanked their audience before coming back stage. Everyone was excited. As the final member appeared in the dressing room, they formed a circle around Yukiyo before giving her a group hug. "Arigato Yuki-chan" JUMP said together. The boys were crying, so were Yukiyo. It was their first time putting all their effort in a concert. Doing the fanservice seriously, having a band performance together as a group. Chinen hugged Yamada from the back while Ryutaro sobbed in Yabu's embrace, Keito and Yuuto were hugging each other laughing and commenting on each other's performance, Takaki and Daiki were fooling around while Hikaru gave Inoo a peek on his cheek, only to stop JUMP from what they were doing as they gave out a loud cheer of "Kiss him kiss him!" It could be what you called, the best day of Yukiyo's life.

"She's opening her eye! Hurry call the doctor!"
She could hear the shuffling of feet as someone ran out to call the doctor. She felt a hand on hers. Her eye fluttered open and she saw eight pair of eyes staring at her. No, she looked again, Now there were ten pair of eyes. Someone was wearing glasses, so that's counted as two pair of eyes, and in his hands was child. She smiled and turned to her side.
"You're awake, Daijobu? Hikaru and Inoo ran to get the doctor."
"She smiled.
"Kaa-sannn…" She turned as she heard the child's bubbly voice.
"He's been crying for you the whole time, didn't want his daddy." The guy with the spectacles laughed and walked towards her bedside, passing her kid to her.
"Yama-chan!!!! Stop it, he misses me more!" The dad of the child pouts.
She smiled. "Gomen, i've made you guys worried."
"Kaaaaaa-sannnnn" The child giggled again and pinched his mother's nose.
"Chinen Yukiya! Stop pinching your mother's nose! She just woke up. " Chinen took the child from his mother's arm and massaged her nose. Hikaru and Inoo ran back into the room, with the doctor coming in shortly after.
"Yuki-chan! Daijobu?!" They ran beside her and asked.
The rest of the eight pair of eyes stared at her in demand of her answer.
"Daijobu, thanks to you guys, i had the best dream in my life" She answered before the doctor shooed them out to check on her.
A/N: i really have to say, i really cant imagine Yamada playing the piano. i kept laughing as i typed that part. HAHA. i really wanted to pair Hikaru and Yabu, but YabuRyo was too tempting. heh xD

Yamada groaned and he pulled himself up from his seat. "Oh come on Yamada, for once just have lunch with us!" Hikaru walked up to Yamada and placed his arms around Yamada's shoulder.
Meanwhile, Yukiyo who was walking with the rest of BEST had a plan ready in her head. A plan to bring SEVEN together.
The next day, she called for a meeting with SEVEN, to discuss about SEVEN's part in their upcoming Spring Concert.
"Maa..i guess it'll be the same. Yamada will do his own solo, so will Chinen, Keito will play the guitar, I will play the drums and Ryutaro will sing-along" Yuuto said.
"No guys, this time, i have a better suggestion. We will have SEVEN band!" Yukiyo clapped her hands together.
"Eh!?" Keito and Yuuto looked up.
"But i thought its suppose to be me on the drums, Keito and Yabu on the guitar, Hikaru on the bass and Inoo on the piano." Yuuto exclaimed.
"Maa, don't you think that's a little boring? I bet the fans are sick of it already…" Yukiyo said.
Yuuto and Keito looked at each other, confused.
"Okay, this time, instead of JUMP band, we'll have SEVEN band. Yuuto will be on the drums, Keito still on the guitar, Ryutaro will do the guitar as well.."
"But i can't play the guitar!" Ryutaro cut in.
"Don't lie Ryutaro, i know you're learning it!" Yukiyo snapped at him and continued. "Yamada will be on the piano and Chinen will be the lead singer."
"What! NO i don't want to play the piano!" Yamada protested.
"Oh don't worry, the piano's really easy. Im sure Inoo will be glad to teach you. Any objections from the rest?" Yukiyo smiled and look at SEVEN.
Keito and Yuuto looked at each other, relieved that they still have their own instruments to themselves. Ryutaro was looking down at the floor, fiddling with his fingers, ready to rush to Yabu the moment the meeting ends.
Chinen raised his hand. "Anoo…what about adding BEST in. So that it'll really be a JUMP band. Inoo and Yamada can have a piano duet. Yabu can stick with the guitar, Hikaru with the bass. Then me, Takaki and Daiki can sing…"
"Splendid idea!" Yukiyo clapped her hands, glad that her plan was working. "Alright, meeting over. Yamada don't forget to ask Inoo for help on the piano. And minna, i've booked the Jamming studio this friday for a group practise, don't forget about it. I'll remind BEST as well!" and with that, Yukiyo left the room, beaming.
Over the week, Yukiyo will hear the strumming of guitars coming from the dressing room, as well as harmonizing voices. From another room, she can hear the melodic sound of the piano which obviously came from Inoo as well as the occasional slamming of the piano keys, which definitely came from Yamada. Chuckling to herself, she walked to Johnny's room to give him a weekly report. Friday came and she met up with Jump at the jamming room, eager to hear their first band performance. Sitting down on the chair, Yuuto tapped his drumsticks together to signal the start of the song. Everything went smoothly until it was time for Yamada's and Inoo's duet. Yamada missed a key and subsequently missed more notes after that. The song ended and everyone placed down their instruments. Inoo was seen comforting Yamada while the rest of BEST surrounded the piano and encouraged Yamada as well.
"Yama-chan…" Yukiyo suddenly heard a small voice. Looking up, she saw Chinen walking towards Yamada.
"Gambatte." Chinen smiled and said to Yamada.
Yamada looked up and looked at Chinen's face before letting out a smile. "Arigato.."
YUkiyo's heart did a backflip as she saw the heartwarming sight. Leaving JUMP to continue their practise, she took her leave.
It was the day before their first performance for their Spring Concert, they gathered together for a final briefing.
"Haii, Minna, you guys were awesome during these few months, So…just do your best tomorrow! I'll be backstage supporting you guys. Have a good sleep tonight! And…final rehearsal tomorrow, don't forget about it. " Yukiyo said with a smile on her face.
"Haii, everyone said in unisons. "
"Anoo…." Yabu walked up to Yukiyo.
"Yes Yabu?" Yukiyo looked up at him.
Yabu bowed. "Arigato gozaimasu, For bringing JUMP together." Yukiyo smiled.
The rest of JUMP stood up as well and bowed. "Arigato gozaimasu Yuki-chan" They said in unisons. Yukiyo controlled the tears that were collecting at her eyes.
"Doitashimashitae. Gambatte nehh" She said with a laugh and left the room.
Spring Concert went as planned, well, there were still fanservice, but the moment they pairs came back into the dressing room to change, Yukiyo could feel the difference. Yuuto was still clinging onto Keito while Yamada and Chinen came back hand in hand. So did the rest, they came back, filled with excitement. Their next performance was the band performance. Yukiyo cheered for them as they changed out of their costume, avoiding their sweating chest. Yamada was all jittery and Chinen and Inoo were standing beside him, encouraging him. Ryutaro on the other hand was silently sitting at his chair, anxious. Yabu walked over and gave him a hug. "Gambatte, you can do it!" Before ruffling his hair. Yukiyo saw Ryutaro's shoulder relax. She wiped a single tear of relieve off from her eye, and smiled at the sight in front of her.
JUMP clattered out of the room as they were called to prepare for their next performance. Encouraging everyone as they made their way out, Yukiyo hoped silently, especially for Yamada, that they'll do well.
Screams were heard as they started their band performance. Yukiyo watched from the back of the stage, Inoo and Yamada's fingers flew gracefully over the paino keys, Daiki Takaki and Chinen harmonized perfectly. Ryutaro got the most screams during his guitar solo, while Keito and Yabu watched from the back as their youngest member finally found the confidence he was fighting for on stage. Needless to say for Hikaru and Yuuto, who always did their best. Yukiyo smiled again, unable to control the tears this time.
It was the end of their concert and JUMP thanked their audience before coming back stage. Everyone was excited. As the final member appeared in the dressing room, they formed a circle around Yukiyo before giving her a group hug. "Arigato Yuki-chan" JUMP said together. The boys were crying, so were Yukiyo. It was their first time putting all their effort in a concert. Doing the fanservice seriously, having a band performance together as a group. Chinen hugged Yamada from the back while Ryutaro sobbed in Yabu's embrace, Keito and Yuuto were hugging each other laughing and commenting on each other's performance, Takaki and Daiki were fooling around while Hikaru gave Inoo a peek on his cheek, only to stop JUMP from what they were doing as they gave out a loud cheer of "Kiss him kiss him!" It could be what you called, the best day of Yukiyo's life.

"She's opening her eye! Hurry call the doctor!"
She could hear the shuffling of feet as someone ran out to call the doctor. She felt a hand on hers. Her eye fluttered open and she saw eight pair of eyes staring at her. No, she looked again, Now there were ten pair of eyes. Someone was wearing glasses, so that's counted as two pair of eyes, and in his hands was child. She smiled and turned to her side.
"You're awake, Daijobu? Hikaru and Inoo ran to get the doctor."
"She smiled.
"Kaa-sannn…" She turned as she heard the child's bubbly voice.
"He's been crying for you the whole time, didn't want his daddy." The guy with the spectacles laughed and walked towards her bedside, passing her kid to her.
"Yama-chan!!!! Stop it, he misses me more!" The dad of the child pouts.
She smiled. "Gomen, i've made you guys worried."
"Kaaaaaa-sannnnn" The child giggled again and pinched his mother's nose.
"Chinen Yukiya! Stop pinching your mother's nose! She just woke up. " Chinen took the child from his mother's arm and massaged her nose. Hikaru and Inoo ran back into the room, with the doctor coming in shortly after.
"Yuki-chan! Daijobu?!" They ran beside her and asked.
The rest of the eight pair of eyes stared at her in demand of her answer.
"Daijobu, thanks to you guys, i had the best dream in my life" She answered before the doctor shooed them out to check on her.
A/N: i really have to say, i really cant imagine Yamada playing the piano. i kept laughing as i typed that part. HAHA. i really wanted to pair Hikaru and Yabu, but YabuRyo was too tempting. heh xD
