Great Expectations.  Somehow I've gained them in the eyes of my (demi-) piano teacher.  I've already confessed to her that I've only taken two years of piano lessons (from 8-10) and that since then anything I've done has been pretty much self-guided.  And until recently (read as last summer [give or take]) that wasn't all that much.  I can fumble ( Read more... )

I just spent $300.  It hurt.  Granted it was a month's worth of rent and utilities, and about a week (maybe week and a half) worth of food... so not as terrible is it felt.

In other news, I'm a moron.  Guess who has a piano?  If you guessed "the high school that's housing you?" you're a winner!
