So I love the internet and the way it facilitates my tv show addictions (in fact, it's because of the internet that I even watch tv, since I hate commercials in general), and one of my most recent addictions is Glee. I really enjoy the show, and I'm willing to suspend my disbelief in most cases, ( Spoiler-filled argument )

So I've officially passed the one month mark (of being in France, but not on the job) and I am on my first official break (granted I will have passed my first month on the job by the time we get back), which is the week and a half All-Saints-Day break.  Good Lord, I love Catholic countries.  Anyway, not a whole lot going on.  Planning on visiting ( Read more... )

"You're tall!"  I've heard that in every classroom I've been in so far.  Which is 7.  In two days.  I've introduced myself to all of my classes, and in several, we've played the "ask the assistant as many questions as you can in English" which usually fell into me responding in both English and French just so that they could understand my responses ( Read more... )

    Right, so I am alive!  I apologize for the length of this post, but it's a week's worth of posts all at once, and the past week has been thoroughly interesting... the trip was mostly uneventful, caught plane from Columbus to Chicago, 2 hour layover, caught plane from Chicago to Paris, slept for 2 of the 8.5 hour flight, which was only bad ( Read more... )
