This week concludes my first week of "housewife life" while Andy goes to work and I'm at home. I've got all my books put away and most stuff packed away, short of a box of stuff I don't need anymore and need to throw out and some stuff that simply wont fit in our little linnin closet. Last week I bought my plane ticket to London. I’ll be leaving on Thursday, September 23rd. I didn’t fare too bad on the price, either, it went down to $468. Plus I got on the plane that stops in Iceland but lands in London at a reasonable hour for me to get to campus.

Last five days have been rather busy. Thursday was the night of the annual auction for my work. It was on the top floor of the Hilton downtown. I enjoyed the part where I got enjoy the beautiful view, eat free food and drink free wine. However I was completely out of conversations as I don’t have kids. Got an e-mail from Goldsmith’s yesterday. Though it hasn’t bee officially processed they say that it looks like the results from my FASFA is that I can borrow the max amount, 55k. Too bad it’s “borrow” not “have” but ah well. It’s a relief to hear back it’s also good to know that I don’t have to turn to private loans at all. They say I’m not going ( Read more... )

-I had a lovely weekend last week. Andy and I spent most of the time & Dan & Kim’s keeping an eye on the pets while they were out. The two of us watched movies and lazed together.
