It was a very busy Pride weekend but a very good one. Saturday was the annual softball game of Theater Schmeater vs. Annex. We were to play rain or shine and although it was not raining at our place when we left it sure was by the time we got to Garfield. All right, so yesterday I went to Brighton for their gay pride, which is supposedly the biggest Pride in the UK!  Brighton is the beach holiday spot for Londoners. It’s like London’s neighbor down the street who has a nice pool, basically. It’s also the gayest city in England which makes it the SF equivalent so the Pride was going to be good.

Saturday was Pride in London. I went and checked out the parade and the after parade scene in Soho. Things I noticed.Seattle is WAY more pridefull. That is the crowd is more into it, dressed up, etc at home. This parade feels bigger because it's a bigger city but really, I'm not sure it is. There was only one float. I was expecting more. So, um, yes, pride weekend. I don't have too many pictures to post. however the good news is that I bought a camera. it should arrive in mid July. So since I'm still barrowing Raye's I'll keep it short. I'll open with a pic of the Gay Pride Cookies I made with some help from Raye on the frosting.

Thursday & Friday I bartended at the theatre as per usual and joined everybody afterward for drinks at the Rosebud (Thurs) and Chez Gaudy (Fri).
