5 - Dimitri came up with an idea for a comic after watching Trigun. Basically Trigun meets Dirty Harry meets Punisher meets the beggining of Xenogears/Dark Cloud/anything where the main character's town gets destroyed right off the bat.
7 - We worked on the skeleton outline for the first issue. The fact that he didn't have any fucking clue about how to make comic(guy never even read one before I lent him Watchmen)was a bit of an obstacle.
12 - We went to his friend Carlo's house to start working on it. I read an old issue of Wizard while Dimitri described the characters to Carlos so he could draw them.
14 - I spent Valentine's with Marsha. We ended up having dinner at LaBella's. I was short on cash at the time so she bought the pizza and I got us dessert. The apple pie was good but a bit too small. We played some pool and I remember Marsha saying she liked the music on the speakers. It was a few songs off Rancid's "And Out Come The Wolves" album. Later on we met up with Maggie and hung out at Plaza Bonita. They dragged me to every damn clothing store in that consumerist behemoth. We played a game called purse where you gotta try and pick out 3 bags that a girl might like and/or actually use. You gotta get 3 out of 5 and only guys can play. Jamie wasn't there but I kicked his ass at it. On the way home some random guys gave me a Valentine's card on trolley. That was really weird...yet, it made me feel pretty.
18 - Hung out at Eri's with her, Alex and Jackie. Not much to tell really. Just ate some burgers and played some games. I had to give Eri her DQVIII game back anyway. I had already passed it about a month beforehand. I wasn't really feeling to well that day, now that I remember. Think it might have been the weather.
19 - I had in interview in Downtown at Maggie's office. Jamie picked us up at SWC and droppped us off at Horton Plaza. There was an expensive-looking Thai restaurant on the way to their office. Now that I got money I wanna try it. Changed my shoes in the lobby before we went up. Fuck everything in Downtown looks pretty. The interview went ok and if it wasn't for the fact that the whole work Visa thing takes so fucking long, I would've probably gotten it too. Oh well, c'est la vie. Before I took off, Maggie showed me pics of giants rabbits she got in an e-mail. I still say they are not real...but I want them to be.
21 - Ashe gave me a flash drive full of Bonnie Pink songs. She's like the only other person I know who's a Bonnie Pink fan. We both giggled like school girls.
23 - Watched Sweeney Todd with my mom and discovered a new way to freak Joanna out with one of the songs I heard. It would've been a lot better if it hadn't been for all the stupid fucking teenagers there.
26 - Went with Dimitri to this place in Bonita called House of 9 Dragons. BEST ORANGE CHICKEN EVER! One of Janis' friends recomended it, but I forget his name. In return, I gave him a link to a site that has all the One Piece episodes. Later that night we picked up Ashe and got our first taste of mini-pies at Wal-Mart. I didn't eat mine cuz it was my cousin Jessica's B-day, so I gave it to her on the way home.
29 - Finally watched Sin City. That movie kicked ass! But they added too much from the comics, thus leaving the upcoming sequel to be filled entirely by just one of the 3 chapters covered in the first one.
