Nutty and not pale

Magic Hat Brewing Company --- #9  (Not Quite Pale Ale)

This brew was a bit of a surprise,  It held a slight nuttiness that made the beer.  It also tasted more like a wheat then a ale.  Though the flavor definitely does not mix with other drinks, the combination of flavors turns sour and wrong.

Being I had this brew at a comedy club I have no idea of the general real world price for reference I just know I paid way more then it was worth under the clubs  two drink minimum, but hey they have to make money too, right?  It falls into a social beer with a 4.6% alc/vol.  This beer does not have a high Frat factor as it’s not really chuggable but does have surprisingly tasty belch’s sometime later, even if on the weak side.

This is one that I would stock in the pantry again, for a social get together, Specially if it’s a themed Halloween beer tasting, you know your pumpkin beers, with your hobgolblin, Rogues’, witches brews, scar crows and what ever other spooky/ mystical beverages from the beer cooler.

nuts, pale ale, tasy belch
