...In other news. Got my laptop back from the shop on Saturday. Had to replace my fucking hard drive, buuuut at least the guy gave me this...thing...that he put my old HD into, and now I can connect that and drag shit back onto my computer. The problem? It takes forever. And I have to do it aaaaall little bits at a time.
Fortunately, I managed to preserve the better portion of my applications, all of my documents (what I was really concerned about), most of my pictures (all of my yaoi, thank Hod), and...while I dragged Corel Painter from my old Apps folder, as well as the program's data (most of it?) from the old User Library, and all those silly little folders in there...I've yet to see if I can still access all the pictures I'd been working on. Fuck, I will be so pissed if I lose that stuff. For now, I'm still not even halfway through transferring my music (3000+ songs...), and so far, about 3% of the songs I've tried to drag over say the "file is corrupted".
Blah. At least I have a laptop again.
