Bwa I got new Uggs for valentines day! the only condition is that Brian gets to have a bonfire with my old ones (which he hates more than just about anything).
And thanks to California Budget cuts and the wonderful UC system, I'll be spending another quarter at Davis. Doing what, I don't know, considering I'll be done with my major in June, according to plan. I think I'll take Chinese. On the down side, how the fuck am I supposed to get ANOTHER fucking loan in this country? On the plus side, I'm in no hurry to graduate. Its not like anyone is hiring right now, especially for anything short of State Department schlepping in Slovenia where I'll be stuck for two years.
And it probably means I'll apply to grad school. Most likely in Davis, because its a research University and I'll basically break even on cost-- make almost enough on research and teaching to cover grad school and student loan payments. That and we have some of the best political scientists for IR on the west coast. Provided my grades are good enough to get IN for grad school. BUT HEY, I've got another quarter to tack on some extra fluff! WHY? NO ONE KNOWS!
