Tomorrow - or rather, in around 45 minutes - it will be All Hallows' Eve, so I thought I'd get out the knife and rather than stress about my class test, try my hand at the first bit of pumpkin carving I've ever done.  I think it turned out pretty well.  Tomorrow there will be real candles in it, rather than the "emergency" torch.

Having spent the last two days being virtually unable to swallow due to the pain in my throat, it finally seems to be going away!  My last two nights have been horrible - I've been waking up either burning hot or freezing cold every hour, or at least that's how it feels.  This morning I finally gave up and went for an early morning stroll to cool ( Read more... )
