RoseNet
RoseNet, as I have christened it, is now up and running, so I'm giving up the library for at least the next 7 weeks! It's bizarre how much I took the internet for granted - I'd find myself turning on my laptop to go on MSN any time I wanted to contact anyone before remembering that I can only phone or text them.
But Tiscali haven't been too difficult to deal with, if you exclude the fact they took my email address as ph49@ft-andrews.ac.uk. Close, I suppose, but I think that's why I wasn't told as soon as my phone line was connected.
Anyway, Rose lane is lovely and peaceful, and I've settled in happily - I'm impressed that my food hasn't consisted solely of pasta and sandwiches, although bread does seem to vanish quite quickly.
Right this is probably boring you so I'll write more when I feel something has been interesting...
