Well,Tom's surgery is done. The good news is, the stone is gone. The bad news is, they didn't actually find it when they went in there with the scope. They even took X-rays of the entire tract. Nothing. Apparently Tom passed is before the surgery. But they were screening his pee, and found nothing. And Tom did have some twinges of pain this morning. The doctor asked if he had brown pee, apparently he did early this morning. The doc said that is indicative that it could have broken up on its own and passed as a powder. And the pain could have been from the kidney, which got irritated when it was blocked. So, whatever happened to it (6mm on the X-ray), its gone. I'm going to have fun explaining this when he wakes up!
