Tom update
So Tom is going to have some sorting laser surgery tomorrow for his kidney stone. I say surgery but he's not going to get cut at all - they are going in the urethra, laser the stone to bits, then vacuum the bits up. He should be mostly back to normal by Saturday, and home by tomorrow night. The doc said he could have dinner tonight, so I'm off to get him an orange coolatta.
Edit: the procedure is called lithotripsy. And he might end up tomorrow night in the hospital, if he has a Foley catheter and for pain management. But either way, I have childcare sorted for tomorrow, as late as I need it.
