Had the 24 week growth ultrasound yesterday - everything's fine! He's a healthy boy weighing in at 1 lb. 13 oz, which is 76th percentile for his age/gestation. Still due right around Valentine's day, give or take 3 weeks. His little heartbeat was right where it should be. Everything looked good!
Also, I got the H1N1 vaccine this morning! My OB had run out, but it turns out my general practitioner had some that was reserved for high-risk patients, and I got one of the last doses! That's one weight off my mind.
We also have pediatrician appointments set up for November and December. I figure we'll go the specialist route, rather than relying on the general practitioner, because of the concerns with asperger's/autism in the family.
Next tasks: day care visits and NAMES (ahem, Tom...)
What else is going on with me? Getting over the head cold, still having minor morning sickness most mornings, starting to get a little more energy back, trying to think of ways I can get my heart rate up but that won't make me barf. My back pain is way better.
My husband left a light on in my car last night, and it was DOA this morning. Ack! Fortunately some construction workers came and helped us with a jump. It was much appreciated.
And finally, I am really, really looking forward to Halloween weekend! Some basic spooky decorations are up outside, ready for the little trick-or-treaters. Costumes have been assembled. Friday night is DnD night at our house and Saturday is Robyn's party. I love Halloween!
