(no subject)
I really have not updated here in awhile. I've been using facebook as my main networking site, and all the updates you'd be getting from me are, "Who's my roommate?! Why isn't it time to move yet!?" and "Man, I am amazing at my job, which is probably due to the fact that I work so often." I've spent a lot of time preparing for college and working, to say the least. I try to have as much fun with my friends as I can manage in between. We've taken trips to the zoo and to the Old Market, we've had bonfires and game days, and have tried to do as much as we can while we're still together.
After this summer... we're going to be pretty split up. Katie's heading to Florida, Lindsay is heading to South Dakota, Danny is heading to Missouri, and Jaz and I are heading to eastern Iowa, leaving Payton here. I wonder if we'll hang out much after we leave. I'd like to think so, but I don't know if that's actually very likely. I'm not one for keeping in touch- I like to be in the moment. I know I'll make plenty of new friends at Iowa, I just don't want to lose the ones I already have.
I really can't believe that I'll be living in Iowa City within the month. I'm really excited, and a little scared. My classes seem like they'll be very fun, and I have a feeling my roommate and I will get along well. The hardest part about moving is not being able to see Quinn everyday. Yes, I've become that cliche. I don't care; I like it. And since he's patiently waiting for me to finish this blog, I think this is a good stopping point.
