I have always watched the ball drop in Time Square every New Year on TV. I have always dreamed about going some year. So, this year I decided that I am going to go to New York for the New Year of 2010. I think it would be the perfect year to go and it will give me time to slowly put money away for myself. You may think 'two years to save for one small trip', but to me... a single Mom just making it.. New York is a HUGE trip!
The thought alone makes me so excited! It's a really good feeling to plan for something like this on my own. Honestly, if I end up going alone it will be ok. My Grandparent's live in Connecticut so I can always spend all my time with them and then hop on the train and head in for New Years!
