empty week
Himself has gone to a week long training class...out of town. So I am flying solo this week.
After the drama/trauma of the past week...some alone time will be good...for both. Although we made up, I suppose, glossing things over is making up no? Still alone time will be good.
I Am seeing one my girlys for sewing night tomorrow. I teach on Thursday night. I will NOT be attending the wednesday night Alice party...too spendy and no costume and no date. Initially I had thought I would go solo anyway, but nah...still no costume. Then the price raising drama kinda put me off.
I will have the hovel to myself mostly. Nigel works evenings. Lauren is back at her Dads house in Arizona for a bit. So its me and the kitteahs.
I am gonna focus on me, I need to find some full time work. I want to teach full time. I will be making some calls and putting out feelers. I am eager to see how lucrative the Joannes classes actually are. I have taught two classes in the past month, both with 4 students. by my calculations, thats a good bit of change for 2 hours work. We shall see. The only downfall is if no one signs up for the class, no pay...its all commission. Really want to get in with ROP, SCROC and some adult schools. Also, private stores offering sewing. My other idea is teaching private classes. Say you and 4 friends want to gather and learn to sew. I would travel to you and give the class.
