Aniversary goodness
I got a laptop. HOLY COW...For Christmas I got my car paid in full...man I am so spoiled!
I got A 2 books, one is 1900 history book, maybe a text/school book not sure, it covers Great men and Events of the 19th century. The other is a war related book. He has so many books, its hard for me, I dont want to give repeaters. I baked him a heart shaped brownie and we went out last night to Outback...where we went on our first date. And our first anniversary.
Today, Im laying around feeling kinda icky and he suggests we go to Best Buy and get me a new laptop. OMG...wow. Its wonderful. Hes wonderful! Im not worthy really.
He and Nosey the little ferret are curled up next to me snoozing.
He got the old man Ricci a step so it will be easier for his ole bones to get up on the bed. Ricci is my old black cat. 14 years old, getting stiff and arthritic.
At lunch today, the new job offer came up, he suggested what I was already thinking that the money is so low, it might not be worth my time to take this job. We both agree that it has potential, but not sure if its the way to go. He and I agree that I might do better with my current part time job with Amber's dad, my teaching and punching up my corset sales. Oh yeah, the museum has indicated that they are ready for a display corset and they will be giving me referrals in general and to their brides that inquire. So really if I am doing retail managing, will I still be able to sew and volunteer and have time for him/us? Dunno, its a hard call. If the job with Amber's dad wasnt there, it would be different. Its nice to have choices.
My car goes in tommorow for repair from the accident last November. I get a rental car for a few weeks. I will miss my little blue beast...but she will be all shiny and pretty again. whoot!
