Interesting week is interesting...
So its our aniversary today...marking the end of year 2 and begining year 3. I think we are on the right track. We seem to be on the same page in so many ways, and we are communicating well about those places where we have differing opinions. Im happier now than I was last year. Things are looking up! Happy Aniversary my love!
Joanns. Ok so I started teaching for the Buena Park store this month. I attended an open house and I guess I did well because apparently the sign ups doubled. So someone thinks I am all that AND a pint of Hagen Daz. So my supervisor(Education Coordinator)at Buena Park told me about a job opening at Torrance. Its the same position as she has and its NOT typically filled from the outside. They very much promote from within. The story goes, he manager pointed out my magnificence and SHE figured she would reward everyone...hehe Im being sarcastic, I dont feel that wonderful. But apparently they think I am. Its a bit scary, because now I will have to actually perform and not be a slacker. Its a bit daunting.
Anyhow. So I apply for the job, she sits in on the interview...the manager absolutely falls in love with me. They offer me the job. Its 20 hours a week and the pay is shitty. BUT, he has me earmarked for a higher up position, so Im told. Only two promotions away from salary. They will also cross train, so I can pick up more hours. Still shitty pay... It should be fun. Its immersing myself in my own world...fabrics, sewing and crafts. Neat title...Kristine Education Coordinator! hehe pay should match....booooo!
Im going to apply for my Post secondary teaching cert as a sewing instructor. I had it for Make Up, so it shouldnt be hard to get. I think I would like to start teaching in adult schools and ROP classes. Sewing that is.
I dont think I will ever get over NOT being an EMT. But the pain is lessening.
Gonna go get a mani/pedi today and do my blonde roots black again...so tonight I will look good for my sweetie!
