While at work today, I saw a pigeon. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but I was on the Plant Conservation Farm in the wheat fields. We were more than a few miles out of town, but the pigeon didn't seem to care. Pigeons are normally city birds - they need cave-like structures in which to nest, which is why they like eaves so much.
