After the show
Sitting in a Denny's after dropping off silverstreak at home, ingesting emergency alertness substitute of the currently legal stripe.
The show was top notch. Not only were both opening acts (Lilofee and Electric Valentine) good, the Freezepop set was varied and interesting, modulo some audio glitching at the start and the regrettable absence of the Duke of Pannekoeken. Some old classics ("Plastic Stars"), some new material ("Float Away" off Future Future Future Perfect), and a show-ending cover of Europe's Final Countdown for maximal goofiness.
I'm a bit wiped. I will be careful driving home. I want to cuddle up to my sweetie therobbergirl and conk out.
