Having earned enough miles to fly Lisbon-San Francisco in first class, I am starting this trip in Lisbon. I will fly from Lisbon to Frankfurt in TAP's business class, spend the night in Frankfurt and the next day I will fly from Frankfurt to San Francisco in First class on Lufthansa's A380. This cost me 67500 miles + $67 in taxes.
