new bike new job new car livin large
I bought a new bike off of ebay. It is an old pink aluminum cannondale road bike and believe me, i shall pimp my ride. Beyond that, I just want to ride fast and ride long. I love my track bike but there's something to be said about having a road bike for rockin' the miles as well. Maybe I'll be really cheesy and get black deep v's so its the opposite of my track bike. I've been living way too large recently. I also have a car now. But now that I'm off crutches I'm trying not to use it. I have the internet at my house as well which is amazing if not distracting as hell. I started working at filmmakers yesterday slinging popcorn and selling tickets. What an amazing job, indie film theatres are great. Right now we're showing "The White Countess" at the Regent Square Theatre. Wednesday and Thursday I'll be at the Melwood for the last movie in the Louis Malle series, "Les Amants" or "The Lovers". Speaking of, Ted and I have relxaed into this bickering, curmudgeonly old couple. I told him to unplug the toaster while washing the dishes, and I bitch about him leaving the water run, and wanting to watch TV during breakfast. He moans about silly things like me getting him a Motorhead record and then feeling like he's obligated to do stuff for me because I do too much for him. I went through a really insecure phase last week where I asked a million dumb questions. I think the fact that we weathered that means we're in this thing for a while. I don't know many people with enough patience and good answers to ward me off when I'm in insecure, manipulative, every answer is wrong, girl mode. I woke up this morning and it was snowy as hell but it all seems to be gone again. School is going ok. I've just been playing a lot of catch up. Butttt, I need to get ready for work. 3 showings today.
