Meaty Creatures [Active]

Content: Laharl's mom wanted to get some meat for dinner... so... someone has to protect her!

It didn't take too long to catch on that his mother was after a something for cooking. Even if a meal hadn't been involved, he would have gone with his mother in a heart beat, but the thought of a large meal was definitely an added bonus. His mother's cooking was as good as he had been able to remember, which was, unfortunately, rather foggy at best. Not that it mattered so much when he had all these new memories.
Once they'd left the city, he began to lead her out through the fields, towards the church. The young overlord keeping a watchful eye as they passed through the open areas. Last he'd checked, Paixao's growing collection of creatures (Heartless, Lumen and Unversed) all had been seen out here these days, from what he'd gathered.
"Ah... So," he began, a little awkwardly. "Which floor did you want to go to, Mom?"
He wasn't sure when it would stop feeling strange; the name that for so long had been so taboo around him. It didn't bother him that it felt strange though. It was a very good strange.
