Character(s): Naesala and anyone else who’d be out and about
Content: Talking to some others from different worlds while taking the time to make use of his journal has been fun, but hey-a bird’s got to eat, right? On the way, he spots an opportunity to snag some treasure...
Setting: Somewhere outside within Paixao
Time: Backdating to Week 30, in the afternoon
Warnings: Possibly of the air of arrogance or prickliness about him.

The journal device was tucked into a side pocket of Naesala’s dark overcoat as he flew on to see more of this spacious city. The first priority, on top of other priorities, was to find a meal suitable enough to satisfy his empty stomach. He hadn’t eaten anything for quite some time, not since the last place he perched before having to lead his bird tribe over Begnion’s ocean back to Kilvas. Ravens usually weren’t migratory birds. That long journey to make after Tellius’s latest struggles was nothing typical for these laguz.

In order for Naesala to make it back to his enriched abode of a castle, he’d have to keep up his strength. Obviously.

In looking upon the map on the journal screen, he knew how to locate the nearest Café Eresat. He was flying in a northwest direction, looking down at the ground. Lo and behold, what did he see? In the middle of each artificial bush within a cluster were different colored gems-gold, emerald green, blue, orange, silver, and ruby. As far as he was concerned, they were all his for the taking. He considered this an opportunity to do before getting any brunch.

Some of those blonde humans began to approach. Neasala didn’t have to do much to make them scatter. My, my, such skiddish creatures, thought the raven. Flapping his widespread and large black wings, a natural movement before planting both booted feet on the ground, had started the four young adults. Upon landing, he off-handedly brushed back some of his blue hair before watching them flee out of sight. The sun glossed wings tucked themselves behind his back as he chuckled in amusement.

Well, now that he had this little area to himself, he began to pick off the gems one by one. These wouldn’t be much to place, among the rest of his loot back home-but a start was a start.
