Character(s): Levitas and whoever wants to meet a dragon
Content: Levitas shows up in Paixao, extremely confused. Please help a dragon out.
Setting: Just inside the Niflheim gate
Time: Week 26, midafternoon
Warnings: Major awkwardness

His captain was missing.

That was Levitas’ first thought upon arrival. The change in scenery and weather patterns did not bother him; rather, it was the sudden and noticeable lack of two hundred pounds of human on his back that perturbed him. His captain had not fallen, or been shot - Levitas would have heard him yell in pain or felt him fall. No, his captain had simply disappeared. It was cause enough to panic, though Levitas did his best to refrain, settling for flying in a wide circle around his new surroundings, keeping a sharp eye out for anywhere his captain may have landed.

Several laps later, when it became obvious that his captain was nowhere on this island, Levitas finally folded his wings and landed some distance away from one of the long lines of humans he had spotted from the air. Experience had taught him that humans often feared dragons, though this group seemed strangely unperturbed by his presence. He slowly ambled up to the end of the line, giving its members plenty of time to see him, though none of them reacted. How odd.

He shifted his weight and summoned up his courage. “Excuse me,” he started, bending his head low so as to address the woman at the end of the line, “I am afraid I have-“

“Just wait in line,” she interrupted him, tone curt and impatient. “You’ll get into the city soon enough.”

Levitas blinked, rather taken aback by the abruptness of her answer. “Oh.” A pause. “Thank you.” He settled in to wait his turn in the slow-moving line, hoping he would be able to fit through the gates when he finally arrived at the front.

As it happened, he could, though he had not received many answers in the process. He had, however, been given a small device that he had been informed was a "journal," though it did not look like any journal he had ever seen. He tried to get out of the way of the foot traffic in the street - difficult, as he was large enough to occupy most of it - and craned his head down, inspecting the small mechanical device clutched in his claws.
