Content: It's about time someone went to explore just what was beyond that door in the church.
Setting: St. Destino and beyond
Time: Afternoon
Warnings: None so far - depends on who shows up and what they do.
Note: This one will be party style - make your own subthreads and go exploring. There's nothing saying you have to be in Sonic's party, or even there at the same time as him. There's more info on Destiny Islands here. Have fun!
It had been a while since Sonic had last been to the church - a few weeks, in fact. Funny how time passed here.
The walk had gone pretty quickly, even though he was impatient as ever to get there - he didn't really want to carry his companion this time, though. Could get a bit awkward.
Of course, he was keyed to battle when they entered the physically impossible room...only to find the mantis was missing. Poof. Vanished. Part of him was relieved, but he couldn't deny that the other part was pretty disappointed.
Of course, that all fell away when he opened the door on the other side of the room - the one that had held the ridiculously huge lock - and saw what was on the other side. For once in his life, Sonic was both motionless and speechless.
"Wow."
