Hotel hunting [Completed]
Characters: The Prinny Squad
Content: One prinny needs a bath, two need healing, and all three need a nap. Time to find a hotel.
Setting: The train station at M5 to the Actua Are at F3
Time: Backdated all the way to this thread because Kia is slooooooow Evening
Warnings: None. It's the prinnies, dood.
Between one Organization member and one explosive tentacle monster, the Prinnies were exhausted. Right now, all they wanted was a place to crash out for the night (well, Keesling wanted the now-dry and itchy pink paint off of him, but sleep was definitely a close second). So it didn't really hope when the surrounding area proved to be lacking a hotel.
What it did have, however, was a train station. Bellatrix exchanged a few of the golden leaves she'd started keeping in her pouch for tickets, and luckily they didn't have to wait too long before the train bound for the center of the city pulled into the station. The three prinnies boarded (albiet with some difficulty), found a bench, and were asleep within minutes - even Bellatrix, despite her efforts to stay awake. Somebody had to know when they reached central station so they could get off at the right stop...
But she - indeed, they - slept right through it.
It was only when a rather rude conductor stood above them loudly and repeatedly clearing his throat that Bellatrix woke up. "Last stop," he informed her gruffly. "Everyone off."
"Wh- oh, dood," Bellatrix sighed, lightly shaking Freidrich and Keesling awake. "Train's stopped. Gotta go, dood." She half-supported and half-dragged the two groggy members of her squad off the train, looking blearily around for any place to stay, as the artificial sun had already set. That looked like a hotel a ways away...well then, that was where they were going.
She steered Freidrich and Keesling in the direction of the hotel, the three of them leaning on one another for support and walking in tired silence. It took forever and no time at all - nobody was really keeping track - to finally round a corner and find a hotel standing there. Keesling mustered a tired cheer and leaned against Bellatrix. "'m really tired, dood."
Entering and obtaining a room passed in a blur for the squad. Bellatrix vaguely remembered sitting Keesling in the tub and scrubbing him until all the paint was gone, leaving the tub full of paint flakes but Keesling a clean blue. By the time they'd made it back to the room, Freidrich had already fallen asleep at the edge of the bed. Bellatrix pushed Keesling to the middle, then settled in on the other side. She was nearly asleep when she felt the gentle poke in her back.
"Thanks for finding me, dood." It was Keesling.
"You're part of my squad." Bellatrix rolled over to face him. "We'll always find you, dood."
Keesling smiled (as well as a prinny can smile, anyways) and snuggled into the quilt, asleep the second his eyes closed. Within minutes, so was Bellatrix.
