Content: Itachi's tired of hotel rooms and has found fire rather fun to play with.
Setting: Near the train station at K-7
Time: Late Evening
Warnings: Pyromaniacs abound and Paiger returns to some semblance of activity!
Fire blossomed before him, casting shadows as it illuminated the seated form of one Uchiha Itachi. The flames licked his hands as they danced in their hypnotic patterns, constantly drawing his attention back to them, even as his mind wandered. The drain on his chakra was constant, a steady stream that fed the fire, and went mostly unnoticed. There were, after all, times when Itachi had done this before. And always, they were times when he needed to mull things over.
With nothing to do over the past few days, Itachi had taken the time to look over the information on his plate, the things he had been told. Uncertainty was more than prevalent as he considered comments made by various people, Sasuke in particular, and he had been trying to reconcile these things with the things he already knew, the beliefs he already held.
The flames continued to distract him, holding his focus as he continued to be introspective. For now, they remained at a controlled burn. Of course, interruptions could certainly cause unexpected results at times like these.
