I eat, as all Pokémon and people do. And Nobodies, he added, as though he could hear Roxas' stomach grumbling.

"Then perhaps we should go inside and grab a bite to eat," Roxas said, trying to sound as casual as possible. If he had a heart, he might have felt something akin to giddiness, but alas, he did not, and so instead, he continued to stare at the ice cream the people were eating.
Thank god he had some left over munny from... wherever he'd been before. He dug a hand into his pocket and fished out his little pouch full of coins. Roxas could only hope they accepted all types of currency. He figured they'd have to, what with all the people from different worlds being thrown into Paixao on a whim.
"I can get you something," he offered, and the boy was stepping toward the building and pushing the door open.
Besides, everyone likes ice cream.

What is it those people eat? he asked, mental voice ever-flat as he finally padded forward and took up residence at one of the small café tables. Those who had seen him hadn't even taken notice, nor, he thought, would they take notice...
His brown cloak came to be draped across the back of one of the vacant chairs. Of course, he was slightly too tall for said chairs, and so left them alone, sitting back on his heels much like a cat, his tail curved serpentinely like a balance.

He said nothing, slightly widened eyes the only testament to his confusion before he brought it to his mouth and stuck his tongue out. His tail twitched, and he held the bar away again, short muzzle wrinkled. Salt? But at the same time, the lingering taste of sugar crept in.
It was strange. Mewtwo licked the melting blue bar again, and decided maybe it wasn't so strange; he actually smiled, biting a small piece off.

Everyone liked ice cream; Pokémon and Nobodies were no exception.
The boy glanced about them. The other people here seemed to ignore newcomers rather well, not even seeming to notice their arrival. It didn't matter much to Roxas, but he supposed it was rather strange. Oh well. That just made the others seem even more boring to the blond, and he turned to face forward again, absently licking at his ice cream.
"Good, huh?" Roxas asked over the treat, and it tasted even better when he was starving. He was so thankful that Nobodies had at least been given tastebuds.

And it seemed ice cream was no exception. Salt in a supposedly sweet dessert, hah.

The boy licked the last of the flavor from the stick before twirling it around in his grasp, as if examining it (or in hopes that maybe he'd find something, something that tasted sweet and salty and not already in his stomach, please). Soon enough, he got bored with looking at it and let his hand rest on the table, stick still poking out between his fingertips and clicking against the table once.
Roxas wondered if he would need to get a job, or something. Because honestly, unless he could just have munny given to him, he wasn't ( ... )

After all, he could almost swear he could hear a stomach growling, and it wasn't his own.
