Rude Awakenings [Completed]

Content: After spending the night at Actua Are, Kovu and Jing are faced with an unexpected new problem
Setting: The Actua Are near Paixao Central Station (J7)
Time: Morning
Warnings: Nobodies don't know to let sleeping dogs lions lie!
Five more minutes of sleep would be nice, Kovu mused, putting a paw over his eyes to block out the offending sunshine shining through the window of the room he and Jing had gotten for the night. The lion had to admit, Jing's idea had turned out to be a pretty good one. True, they hadn't yet met up with Kiara, and that was a little disappointing, but he'd never slept anywhere nearly as comfortable as the bed he had spent the night sleeping on. It was so much softer than the ground, and even though Kovu had no trouble sleeping on hard ground, he wasn't about to complain. He really didn't feel like getting up yet, even if it was morning. It wasn't like he really ~had~ to move just yet, either.
At least, that's what he thought until a loud crashing sound from somewhere else in the hotel rudely interrupted his attempts to hang onto the last vestiges of sleep. Jolted to full consciousness, he lifted his head up and stared at the door in puzzlement. The crash was quickly followed by a chorus of screams and shrieks, and the lion jumped off the bed, glancing around to see if Jing was up and about yet. Something was up, and Kovu was pretty sure that it wasn't anything good. The two of them might just have to fight or make a break for it.
