When Riku stepped out of the portal, his eyes were heavily lidded for a moment. He was glad Sora went running off ahead of him, because he had to take a moment to gain back some form of strength. He rubbed at his eyes, before standing fully upright and staring ahead. The orange was evidently there, and stayed there as he followed after Sora before he ran out of sight. He was using his powers far too much in this Paixao place, and it was starting to get taxing.

He nearly ran into Sora when he paused, but slowed enough to skid to a stop and only partially bump chest-to-back. Stepping around him, he turned his head away to look in another direction and force himself to calm, the orange fading just in time for him to look at Sora as he yelled Kairi's name.

And there she was. Riku didn't move for a moment, unsure of how Kairi would react to seeing him again. He'd done a lot of shit when they were last together, and he wasn't sure about what she'd thought of him. But after a moment of standing there, he stuck a hand in his pocket and casually followed after Sora, the other hand holding his Keyblade as he prepared to fend off any Nobodies that might want to attack them spontaneously. "Long time no see, Kairi."
