We took loads of buses, and we're not done yet! The first one was from Lima to Piura (north of Peru). That left at 17:00 on Friday and got in around 07:30 on Saturday. We got a hotel room and slept all day. Sunday evening we took a bus from Piura to Loja (20:45 - 04:45). We then changed to another bus going to Cuenca, which left Loja at 05:00 ( Read more... )

I'm at an internet cafe trying to upload my photos to flickr and it's taking *forever*. Gnar! I've been here for an hour and a quarter and I think I'm halfway done. Uploading is just not done here. We've been in Quito for a week and it's quite interesting even if I have been bored somewhat. This is a partial update and I'll write more and add photos when I can. Seems as though going into an internet cafe and plugging in is a foreign concept here and the wifi that I have been able to connect to is *really* slow on the upload speed.
