Easter Golden Hour, originally uploaded by

A month with my parents absolutely flew by way too quickly. It was wonderful to have them close by to be able to pop over for a cuppa tea at 4 pm. I hadn't seen my father in one and a half years and my mother in eight months. Much too long. It has been even longer since I last saw my sisters and nieces. But, I have wonderful memories of the past month. Shopping for a bed with my father, eating a wonderful Sunday Asado with friends on the terrace, walking in Plaza de Mayo on March 24 (Remembrance Day), watching Nocturna in Recoleta, celebrating my Mother's birthday, sitting on the sofa going over life's goals, visiting the botanical garden with my Mum, seeing the chiropractor and seeing my mum have relief, spending Easter Day in the campo, shopping for bits and bobs with my Mum, and more cups of tea. Always more tea. Even though I am thousands of miles away from where I grew up, having tea at 4 pm with my parents makes me feel at home.
