USA Immigration at JFK
Originally uploaded by blmurch. This entry is about a week late, but Kragen and I landed back on US soil on Thursday the 7th and made it safely through immigrations and customs. I even gave the customs guy my card as he's planning on going to Buenos Aires in January. We went to New York city and stayed at a friend's apartment in Manhattan on the east side. We visited with friends and went to a beautiful wedding in New Jersey. I met some flickr friends!!! It was great! We then spent some time up in Boston and got to visit friends and family and that was great too. Yummy vegan pancakes were made for a breakfast and a delicious vegan salad was made for dinner. Monday night at 10:45 we took the subway to the bus station, the Greyhound bus from Boston to New York and then a mixture of subway and taxis to the correct subway station to take the subway to the AirTrain to get the the airport to get on a plane to San Francisco, so we could take the Marin Airporter to get picked up by my mum in Mill Valley so she could drive us out to Bolinas and we arrived at 1:15 Tuesday afternoon! Whew..... We had a wonderful lunch out on the porch and then fell asleep soon afterwards. Kragen slept for seventeen hours, I slept for around twelve. Mmmm sleep. I got a cell phone for a couple of months - ping me and I'll give you the number.
