So, my sister had a false alarm last weekend and the bun is still in the oven. I wish her all the best. She's using a technique called "hypno-birthing" and it's quite intriguing. I hope it works for her. Mum is down there now, which is great as she's a former mid-wife.
We're off to Texas tomorrow for the funeral of my grandmother-in-law. I'm glad that she is no longer in anguish, but it's sad that I did not get to know her as well as I could have. I hope that Grampa John is okay, he must be heart-broken. He took care of her as best as he could and loved her for more than 50 years. I hope that kragen and I are as lucky and as in love as these two love-birds. John always called her "my bride". Just stunning watching the two of them.
