Yes the main plot is all about Taylor wanting Ryan to say I love you to her and Ryan freaking out about it.
She tells Summer about how she wants to hear it and how she wants to go to Berkeley with Ryan.
And well Taylor is not subtle so Ryan soon knows she wants him to say it, Summer does a little to give it away too
But he just can’t bring himself to say it and I for one applaud him for that. Too many people and shows through those words around without really meaning them and he wants to make sure he does so go Ryan.
Not that Taylor gives up, she even tries getting him drunk and well she leans that you don’t get an Atwood drunk with just means he’s a better match for Luke then I though given how much that guy drinks I don’t think he can get drunk either.
Anyways the mood does come together and he does say it and Taylor is over joy and tells him about Berkeley
Which makes him freak and give her a different Birthday gift them he had planned
But then he has a talk with Kaitlin where he realizes he does love Taylor and he offers support to Kaitlin as she’s dealing with another man in Julie’s live, Frank.
Well Ryan gives Taylor her real gift and she loves it
The other plot Kirsten is starting to hate Newport and doesn’t want to raise another kid in it but doesn’t want to love either. Which may not be a problem as the episode ends with an Earthquake ripping the town apart.
And with it we have but two left
