4x13 The Case of the Franks aka the one with the fight over Julie.

Jul 08, 2012 23:00

It’s valentine’s day and there are flash backs, one even has fifth grade Luke, the other has Graham Miller, not Buffy Graham Miller just an actor named Graham Miller but I love the name, because of Buffy, so I’m telling you about it.

Previous Part

So it all starts because Taylor can’t leave anything alone

Ryan’s distracted so she has to find out what,

And well it’s his dad, who Ryan still haven’t talked to again

So she ambushes him with a Frank date

He gives in and stays and they have an okay time

And then Bullet and Julie show up and it’s clear to everyone but Bullet that Frank and Julie like/love each other

And Ryan’s not sure what to make of this.
And I want to take a moment here. When he and Taylor talk about it he said flat out that he thinks Julie deserves better then his dad because he remembers what it was like growing up with her and that’s just wow give how they started four years ago. Even Julie’s a bit stunned when she hears about it but it’s how they are now. They bonded over Marissa. Even before her death they had stopped fighting each other and hating one another and then after they, another with Summer, were affected the most and over all I think this is the best way their relationship could have gone. He feels protective not of his father but of Julie who, in some ways, is more family then Frank is anymore. And I like that touch.

And then with Taylor’s prodding he joins team get Frank and Julie together.

They face off against team Bullet

And they have a cool couple of moments, then move on

As Julie and Frank get together but Julie tells Frank she only have one daughter left and she loves Bullet so it has to be Bullet and it’s so nice of Julie she’s going with the one Kaitlin loves and not the one she loves. But then once Kaitlin realizes this she sends Julie back to Frank. I love the Coopers right now I really go.

Ryan and Taylor see their work is done and go on their own date at last, it’s sweet. And a good episode over all.

and with that we are down to three.
