OK, so, it wasn't a bad Halloween this year, I have to say. Not too shabby. I'll admit, there was no trick-or-treating or dressing up or anything, but still a good day.
I found out that I will be able to come home for Thanksgiving, my boss is being nice enough to let me come home for the holiday, so I'm willing to work during the weekend. I'll probably come home Tuesday night for anyone interested. So hanging out can occur Wednesday, and there better be hanging out with certain people- you know who you are.
Also, so far it's 6:09 in the morning and I have yet to go to sleep, most likely won't at this point, and I'm remarkably at peace with myself. I got home from work/slash my guided tour around the hotel (especially to the haunted areas, but didn't see anything) at around two and have since written my history paper and spent the rest of the night working on a kind of color wheel (It's neato-cool- it's a group of people walking down a sidewalk with their clothes serving as the color palette and their hair/hats will be colored in the complimentary color of the clothes. yeah? well, I think it's cute and that should be good enough). I'm pretty happy with the rough sketches of it and am now trying to work in some of the details of the clothes before finalizing a background and then markering it. I hope it turns out, but I have a feeling the same two guys as always will totally show me up and bring me down from thinking anything I do in Design Fundamentals is at all original or cool.
Holy crap, in only five minutes, the sky has gotten tons lighter in tone. That's crazy. It was a kind of dusky blue, now it's more robin's egg. OH! I finally got some pictures of the view from my window, so i'll try to post some of those soon for anyone who would like to see the gorgeous skyline.
And DONE.
