The Jazalin is a small solitary ork. They are territorial and will attempt to sing each other to death when they encounter each other. The mating ritual is similar, only the loser gets responsibility for the eggs.
This ork hunts by entrancing its prey with song. It approaches, keeping its tail low and hidden. When it is close enough to its prey, it uses its powerful tail to inflict severe damage. More often than not, the tailclaw is coated with poison the Jazalin obtains from plunging the claw into the poisonous Jaza fruit.
The Jazalin is fearless and will take on prey ten times its height. This makes it a danger to lone travelers. When cornered, the Jazalin will attack even the great Olisant.
Culinary Notes: Though small, the Jazalin provide desirable meat. Take care to avoid any of the stringy tail as it sometimes retains trace amounts of the Jaza poison. Recommended spices include: Coriander, Cumin, and Hivora.
