I fail at homework and hiatus. Boo. I really do think I'm incapable of doing homework when the sun is up. I've been up since 9:30 this morning with the intent to work on homework all day, and I am yet to do any. Instead I've spent most of my day reading the
shoebox_project (and to be fair I also cleaned my room which can be filed under the Productive category).
- School so far
I've dropped microbiology because apparently I was in the wrong micro class for bio majors and the one I needed was full. This made my sister mad at me because I'm not in the class to help her anymore.
So now I'm down to 12 credits, boo, I'm going to have to take summer school to graduate on time now.
My calc II teacher is Indian and I can 1) understand him only if I concentrate really hard on it and 2) when I do understand him (which really is most of the time), he tends to talk about things unrelated to calculus - or at least forget to connect it back to calc when hes done w/ his story. Thursday he spent literaly half an hour talking about the weather. Seriously. And he sucks at explaining things. For some reason hes starting with Ch 6, which was the last chapter covered in Calc I, and even though I've already learned the things hes talking about, I don't understand how he explains them, and it'll suck when he gets to thing I don't already know. Also, I have forgotten how to do integrals. u_u. And he only did one example the entire 2 hour period then assigned every single homework problem in the section . No fun.
Physics is going to be a lot of work, we've got about 40 problems worth of hw to do for each chapter, but he gives us a whole week to do them. We're using an online thing for it though and if you don't put the answer in exactly right (which is sorta difficult) you get it wrong, even if you had the right answer. For some reason I kept getting problems w/ pi wrong because it wasn't picking up the pi. That sucks. But the entire textbook is online so I don't have to lug it around and thats nice. Also, I met a girl who is in this class and my Chem class, so yay study buddy
Chem. Dear lord, chem is boring. Apparently when I took Chem I honors my sophomore year of HS I as actually taking college chem because I've learned it all already. Easy A though. Its my last class though so I'm betting that by the end of the semester I wont' be going to lectures anymore and instead going home to watch my tv shows. The prof is really nice though.
I keep trying to draw Harry/Hermione for
andreanna, but I suck at it. I have a decent doodle though that I'll share, and I'll probably be posting more doodles until I finally get one I like and color it. Because
andreanna is made of awesome and deserves many hugs xD
I actually really like this alot, but I have no idea how to finish it and it is too incomplete to be a proper gift art.
I applied to St. John Fisher College in Rochester NY yesterday. Keep your fingers crossed that I get in. Hopefully in January I'll be out of Vegas.
I now own an orange ball point pen. This makes me happy (EDIT: it sucks, boo)
Also, I've just purchased a TI-89 and I'd like to find a periodic table program for it, so if anyone knows where to find one and how to install it I will love you forever
I think I need to purchace more icon space, I have about 130 icons saved on my computer and only enough space for 34. Woe.
