serendipity
ok so tonight i watched the movie Serendipity. ive seen the movie before and of course its fantastic and cheesy but this time it really got me thinking. definition: serendipity-an unexpected fortunate discovery. im one of those people who really does believe in fate and destiny and that we all have a soul mate out there and that true love really does exist. but i dont know life isnt like the movie. what is the likelyhood of both people, engaged and about to be married, suddenly start thinking about each other and a chain of events like the ones in the movie just seem to some how connect them and in the end bring them together. now movies like this are great at times but the can be really depressing because there are so many people in the world that end up lonely and never find that special person. im the type of person that always lives in a fantasy land and im a huge dreamer so i want so badly to believe that miracles really do happen and that im destined to be something more than i am. i feel like im always arguing with myself over this topic of what i believe. i believe in fate but yet i do believe that we make our own decisions that lead us toward an ultimate goal but we can change out destiny if we truly work for it and prove that we are worthy of what we want. i dont know its complicated. love truly is serendipity.
