San Francisco Sundial

After doing an errand in San Francisco on Saturday, D. and I stopped at Hilltop Park to look at the 70-foot sundial there before heading home.  Here are some of the pics I took.

Gamble Garden

Tree Walk and Gamble Garden, Palo Alto

Saturday D. and I went on a tree walk in Palo Alto, organized by a cool local tree advocacy group called Canopy. Once a month they get a local tree expert to lead the public on free walks through selected neighborhoods to look at the really cool and notable trees and talk about the proper care of them ( Read more... )
