Bay Trail in Hayward near Eden Landing, Part One

On Sunday D. and I took a little walk along the section of the Bay Trail in Hayward near Eden Landing Ecological Reserve (not open to the public yet).  The trail ran between a light industrial park on one side and the salt flats of Eden Landing on the other.  We saw sandpipers, avocets, gulls, ( Read more... )

Cooley Landing

Cooley Landing is a small 9-acre peninsula that extends into tidal marshlands and mud flats at the edge of San Francisco Bay, near Ravenswood Open Space Preserve. D. and I went there on Saturday, and I took some pics.
