I don't think it's such an odd leap of logic. I really wouldn't put it past you to be doing something with the mistletoe. Except, as far as I know, it isn't vocal, so no one would really know.

It may not be vocal, but it certainly makes itself felt -- so while it is an interesting phenomenon, I would rather not chance the shocks.

Only if you attempt to disturb it. I could observe the plant, but I doubt it would yield anything of use without stimuli. [of course, he could always throw the pig at it, but, one thing at a time -- there's an idea, though]
