Two weeks is how long one can go without posting before the communicator shocks you.

There have been no exceptions to this rule?

It's not something I pay a great deal of attention to, I must admit.

You are a frequent network user, or merely used to the shocking?

The former. It's something I would prefer to avoid.

Nothing that anyone has made public.

Does knowledge get lost often?

That's a rather open question. It depends on the individuals involved, does it not? It's impossible to answer without knowing everything that is and isn't shared, regardless.

I would say 'no', though.

I am curious as to why you would say so after that disclaimer.

Because it's my experience that it doesn't and you were asking me whether it gets lost often. Another person may well have another experience and answer with the opposite. Without the right knowledge, it's impossible to give a correct answer, but it's still possible to give an answer based on one's own experiences.

Hence my answer, despite the disclaimer.

And if I were to ask you for concrete examples?

I'm afraid you'd have to be a little more specific.

You said 'based on one's own experiences'.

I would, if possible, like an example from these experiences.

Information gets shared one way or another here as and when it's discovered. Therefore, it's not lost.

Some basic information has indeed been compiled by individuals such as Miss Knowledge; however, the majority seems to arrive by word-of-mouth -- hardly safe from being lost.
