Saying I haven't posted in a while is a bit of an understatement. Oh well.
Last night we had a sleepover! Well Cass, Julie, and I did. Well I did. In that I slept. From 6-9 AM. Cass and Julie did things no oneelse should ever be party to and Tina and Stef bowed out in favor of sanity and their own beds. My god I want Julie's couch. I wonder if her parents would mind us taking that for the apartment? It reclines and is a comfy thing of comfyness. Anyway, After Cass and I were epically late (with all the food) we ate and watched Ghostwriter (yay for terrible 90s PBS acting and dialogue in an awesome show. Seriosuly, PBS was so good with show concepts and when you're a kid you don't notice how terrible the writing and acting can be. Not that it matters. I never watched Ghostwriter before but my love of Shining Time Station and Wishbone is absolute and cannot be shaken. Plus Soccer the dog was an awesome actor.) After Tina and Stef took off, we played a bit of Cards Against Humanity, and Julie discovered that Cass and I had not seen Stand By Me. That movie is amazing! (other end of the child acting spectrum there - hello Wil Wheaton!) Cass and I played uke and guitar and Cass convinced me to listen to James Taylor. Julie - what's that angel song? I really need to hear it again (and again and again). Tumblr it or something. I was really surprised when it started gettng light out though my body had been going throught the tired-ENERGY-tired-ENERGY cycle for a while at that point. For the rest of today I've been a happy lazy butt. Watched the first ep of s7 Buffy. Hello crazy Spike. I love crazy Spike, though looking at the characters I tend to fall in love with on shows this is not a suprise.
I should probably figure out dinner. And the next show I need to catch up on. So far it's looking like Justified, Leverage, or Castle, now that I've caught up on White Collar. All of the shows I was trying to keep current with went out the window last spring with a combo of last semester of grad school and giving in to the addiction that is Superanatural. So now that one's done and the other is in hiatus, it's time to play catch up.
OH AND DID I MENITON IT'S A WEEK TILL DOCTOR WHO??!?!?!?!??!
