Just say... maybe?... to skinny jeans
Having another jeans disaster. There is exactly ONE brand of jeans in ONE style that looks fabulous on me, and they’ve STOPPED MAKING THEM! I am gutted - I thought I’d be wearing these things forever. I would have stocked up, but at $250 a pop I can’t exactly do it. So if by chance anyone has a pair of Nobody jeans in size 11 with boot cut in colour Magnesium with a 36” leg, I’ll buy them off you! I went into Texas Radio on K’Rd on the weekend to buy this year’s pair, and found out the disastrous facts along with the news that there is ONE pair left in the country that’s size 11 bootcut 36” leg, but the wrong colour, a kind of washed-out light blue. So do I spend $250 I haven’t got on the very last pair that will fit me in the wrong colour, or wait till they deign to reveal their new line in November? Quel conundrum.
And the worst thing was that after my totally justified skinny-jeans-are-the-devil rant the other day, I was nearly tempted to try some on. It was only for the sake of my character and credibility among my legions of blog-readers that I resisted. Gosh, you lot are demanding.
