yay, an internet cafe that doesn't want to buy my soul (at 8 CAD an hour).

I found a Starbucks today. I knew there just HAD to be one. Everything was in English first, and then German. Found that a little American. Also found a Claire's Acessories. Despite everything, I really do like Switzerland still. People who speak even a little english are so interested in where you come from and smile once they hear Canada. Then they ask me if I speak French, Oi.

The pills to 'calm me down' (I sound like a psychopath on the loose) worked really well. I fell deeply asleep but woke up around 10. When I went down to renew my stay at the hostel I was hit with an epiphany, I just need to get my ass out of bed and keep going.  I've never been the type of person to quit or even feel defeat. I always try to prove to however's watching, including myself, that I can do it all. So here I am, about to do it all if it kills me. I think the whole situation had to get worse before it got better and last night was the worst. I definatly CAN NOT change my ticket back so push forward, I will. I am a traveler, not a tourist, which is why I can not spend my days in bed with a magazine. I stuck my head under the sink and carefully aplpied makeup so that I look less like a bum and showed the cute Australian at the reception I'm female. I got a lovely look of suprise and attention over some hot chocolate which boosted my spirits considerably. I'm able to move quite well without the pain killers now and the burns aren't nearly as red as before. I went down to the train station and bought a toothbrush and a couchette reservation on the next train to Coppenhagen. I leave at 4pm tomorrow night. I feel empowered, even though my parents and close friends may think I'm crazy.

By the way, I don't want to hear anymore about how expensive places are, please and thank you. When you hear a place is expensive it could be any person's perspective. For instance, if you presented someone with a view of Canada that included the hippest clubs, that little boutique downtown, and MAC cosmetics, Canada could be called expensive as well. My point, however accurate, is that -cheap- can be found anywhere. Today I bought hair spary for 3.50, an umbrella for 5.60, and a piece of cake for 2.30. Is that unreasonable?

It's pouring rain currently, reminding me of home. This is where I am:

This is what it looks like:
